NOTE: WGV Homeowners’ Association Board of Directors does not represent all properties within WGV sub-association because seven properties are not Members of the HOA. Consequentially, typical Board responsibilities such as architectural control and covenant compliance are entrusted to WHCCA (the master association), whose Articles, Covenants, and Bylaws apply to all properties. The Board’s primary focus is the management and operation of the Homeowners’ community pool and related facilities.


2023 Board of Directors

president: STEVE TRETTER

Steve is a manufacturers’ representative. He was re-elected as a Board Member at the February 2020 Annual Meeting for a three-year term and re-appointed as president for 2023 by fellow directors at the January 17, 2023, Organizational Meeting. The president presides at board meetings, ensures board resolutions are carried out, negotiates and signs contracts, and counter-signs checks. Steve manages vendor relationships and monitors performance.


vice-president: WENDY KIEF

Wendy was elected to the Board of Directors on March 4, 2021, at an Organizational Meeting held in lieu of the 2021 Annual Meeting that was cancelled due to lack of a quorum. Her three year term is considered to have commenced January 2021. She was subsequently re-appointed as vice-president for 2023 by fellow directors at the January 17, 2023, Organizational Meeting. Wendy has over 27 years of experience with a telecommunication company and brings the skills necessary to exercise and discharge such other duties as may be required by the Board in the place and stead of the president in the event of absence, inability or refusal to act.


treasurer: LARRY SKINNER 

Larry has over fifteen years of experience managing a condominium complex in the Orlando area. He was re-elected as a Board Member at the January 2023 Annual Meeting for a three year term. He was subsequently re-appointed as treasurer by fellow directors at the January 17, 2023, Organizational Meeting. The treasurer is responsible for the collection and deposit of assessments, keeping proper books of account, arranging with the Association’s accountant the preparation of tax returns and annual statement of account, and preparing an annual budget and treasurer’s report.


secretary: KENNETH KRAUSE

Kenny was until retirement a few years ago a software quality assurance engineer for a large enterprise, an owner of a computer repair business, and a commercial pilot in the 80’s. He was elected as a Board Member at the February 2020 Annual Meeting for a three-year term and appointed as secretary for 2023 by fellow directors at the January 17, 2023, Organizational Meeting. The secretary records votes and keeps minutes of all board meetings, keeps a record of names and addresses of members, posts legal notices and various mailings to members.


Patrice Burkemember-at-large: PATRICE BURKE

Patrice has over 37 years’ experience as a Paralegal in the areas of commercial transactions and intellectual property and has lived in Wekiva for over 28 years. She was elected to the Board of Directors on March 4, 2021, at an Organizational Meeting held in lieu of the 2021 Annual Meeting that was cancelled due to lack of a quorum. Her three year term is considered to have commenced January 2021. She was subsequently appointed as member-at-large for 2023 by fellow directors at the January 17, 2023, Organizational Meeting.
