Rules and Usage

IMPORTANT NOTICE—There is NO LIFEGUARD on duty at the pool and all who use the pool do so at THEIR OWN RISK. WGV Homeowners’ Association is not responsible for injury or accident.

To make our pool more enjoyable, and to avoid unnecessary maintenance costs that will increase assessment charges, please follow these guidelines and rules governing the use of our community pool:

Regulations

SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED
NO SMOKING INSIDE FACILITIES OR WITHIN PERIMETER FENCE AREA

  • Maximum of 14 people can be in the pool at the same time.
  • The use of the pool and facilities is permitted from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
  • Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the pool without adult supervision. Toddlers using diapers are not allowed in the pool.
  • No pets allowed in the pool or pavilion area.
  • No glass bottles or glass containers of any kind inside the pool area.
  • Trash: THERE IS NO TRASH PICKUP. This community property does not have Seminole County waste pick up. Do not leave garbage in the trash can. Take home your empty food packaging, containers, cans, and anything else you bring.
  • WGV Homeowners’ Association Community Pool is for the exclusive use of Members and their guests.
  • Trespassers will be prosecuted.
  • Entry into the pool area is strictly via the secure gate. Each Member has been assigned a non-duplicable uniquely numbered gate key that must be returned to WGV Homeowners’ Association’s Secretary upon transfer of property title. $75 will be billed to the Member to replace a lost or missing key.
  • No climbing on perimeter walls, railings or structures.
  • Members and their guests are responsible for all articles brought by them to the pool. WGV Homeowners’ Association assumes no responsibility for personal property left in the pool area.
Pool Etiquette
  • Our pool is family friendly. Please dress appropriately.
  • Members are asked to help prevent misbehavior such as running, pushing and scuffling.
  • Always shower before entering the pool.
  • When listening to music use headphones or earbuds. Do not use music boxes.
  • Pool furniture is provided by WGV Homeowners’ Association and must not be removed. Return chaise loungers, chairs and tables to their original locations when leaving the pool area.
  • Report any maintenance issues, bathroom malfunctions, etc.
Group Gatherings and Events
  • You may use the pool for group gatherings and events. You cannot reserve the pool for your exclusive use but other Members will appreciate knowing in advance when a group is planning to use the pool. Post advance notification of your group event on the bulletin board above the water fountain. You can also post notification on this website here.
  • Remove all decorations including tape, tacks and/or staples. Use blue masking tape for decorations—it doesn’t pull paint when removed. Avoid balloons—they damage the filtration equipment.
  • Spot check the pool deck and landscaped areas for litter and personal items after a group event.
  • If you propped open bathroom doors be sure to close and lock before leaving.
  • Never leave gate unlatched. Ensure gate is locked at all times except when entering and leaving.
  • REMINDER: TRASH is not picked up. Bring your own trash bags and take it home when you leave.
