Meeting Minutes from Sep 28, 2021, WGVHOA Board Meeting

Place: WGVHOA Community Pool @ 203 Albrighton Ct. Longwood, Fl. 32779

Notice was posted at bulletin board. Sep 26, 2021, at 6pm, Website 6:30pm stating that: “WGVHOA Board Meeting Sep 28, 2021, at 7pm. All Members are welcome to attend” 

As we arrived there were 4 youth trespassers in the pool. Janeil, and Zane had trespassed earlier this week. They brought 2 more trespassing friends, Kaden and Lilly. Their story: we are all friends with “Jordan” of Teague M. S. and Jordan has the key, who lives either on W. York, or W Wyndham, who opened the gate. Jordan then left. The youths were advised that the pool were for members only and an adult with a registered key must accompany them the entire time and follow posted rules. This issue prompted us to discuss “No Trespassing signs” to be posted in several locations around pool perimeter.

Quorum was achieved with 5 board members present.
Attendees: Steve Tretter, Larry Skinner, Wendy Kief, Patrice Burke, Kenneth Krause.

Agenda:
Pavers for Parking Lot: Fl. Pavers and Pergolas voted best value and price.
Electrical Quote or Restrooms: All Services and Electric voted best value and price.
Meeting called to order at 7:15pm.
Larry Skinner proposed we discuss 2 bids to start the improvements in the parking lot area. After discussion Larry motioned that we accept “Florida Pavers and Pergolas” bid total. $3300.00
Patrice seconds motion and all members concur on choice of contractor and price.
Style and color of pavers was selected.
Larry and Steve briefed everyone about the improvements needed to the
restrooms and building. Electrical cost estimate was $609.00.
Larry motioned to accept bid by “All Services Electric”.
Wendy seconds the motion with all board members in agreement.
Larry is requesting that the fiscal year be changed from Jan–Jan to July–July to make our financial reports easier to report and understand. Board members agreed that we should research this idea and implement if possible.
