WEKIVA GOLF VILLAS HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC.
GENERAL MEETING
Tuesday, January 31, 2006

In attendance:
Members from homes/lots
7, 5, 14, 18, 20, 22, 39, 38, 36, 34, 53, 41, 50, 48, 44, 29

Introductions-
David Shields of Wean and Malchow.
WGVHA Board T. Donovan

Purpose of meeting was stated and (after discussion noted below) accomplished, i. e. Nominate a new Board

John Carter, John Ewseychik, Jerome Boucquet, Ann Hagen

Discussion- Mr. Shields explained that sale of the community pool would be a very complicated and predictably unsuccessful legal process, and stated that such unusual action is in circumstances similar to needs of eminent domain by a public agency. And, conceivably requiring 100% agreement by the membership. Other legal conditions were offered by some of the membership that contributed to the understanding that our pool should not and will not be sold

There was considerable discussion regarding the pros and cons of transferring to a management firm, the duties of the board to maintain the pool, keep records and comply with legalities. It was agreed this will remain an item for further review by the new board. Other discussion included the need for increased membership participation and potential membership expansion to other Wekiva Golf Villa Homeowner.

Nancy Kon expressed gratitude to the retired and retiring Board, which was met with general agreement.
