BOARD MEETING MINUTES
WEKIVA GOLF VILLAS HOMEOWNERS’ ASSOCIATION
December 17, 2009

A board meeting of the Wekiva Golf Villas Homeowners’ Association took place on December 17, 2009, at the WGVHA pool on Albrighton, Longwood, Florida.

Greg Clifford, president of the association, called the meeting to order at 7:20 pm. Also in attendance were Elaine Curran, Steve Tretter, and Andy Williams.

The minutes from the November 24, 2009 board meeting were approved.

The board discussed the tremendous spike in the electricity bill for the past two months. Per the request of Steve Tretter, Barry Wynn checked amps being pulled by the pool pump and determined it to be appropriate. Steve Tretter and Greg Clifford carefully inspected the pool pump and timer system. It appears that the timer must not be functioning properly. The board agreed that the timer must be repaired as soon as possible. Mr. Tretter will contact vendors for quotes to repair the timer.

Greg Clifford submitted pictures and an official request to remove the dead tree near the pool area to the Wekiva Hunt Club Community Association. The board will make a decision to deny or approve the request during their meeting on December 23, 2009.

Elaine Curran, treasurer, presented the proposed 2010 budget. Adjustments to the budget include a $500 reduction to insurance expenses and an increase in electricity expense to $1,500 for 2010. The board agrees to keep a very close eye on expenses in 2010 as the budget is very tight. Current estimates show the 2010 budget to be breakeven.

Andy Williams moves to approve the budget. Steve Tretter seconds the motion, which is approved unanimously.

The meeting is adjourned at 7:45 pm.
