BOARD MEETING MINUTES
WEKIVA GOLF VILLAS HOMEOWNERS’ ASSOCIATION
April 23rd, 2012

A board meeting of the Wekiva Golf Villas Homeowners’ Association took place on April 23rd, 2012 at the WGVHA pool on Albrighton Court, Longwood, Florida.

Shawn Fourez, Vice President, called the meeting to order at 7:10 pm. Also in attendance were Elaine Curran, Rebecca Viola and Steve Tretter.

We approved minutes from the March 13th, 2012 board meeting and minutes from November 22nd, 2012.

Next order of business was to designate board positions for the 2012 year. Shawn motioned to add

Secretary – Shawn motioned to add Rebecca Viola to the Secretary position, Steve seconded and the board approved.

Treasurer – Steve motioned to keep Elaine Curran as Treasurer, Shawn seconded and the board approved.

President – Steve motioned to add Shawn Fourez to the President position, Rebecca seconded and the board approved.

Vice President – Shawn motioned to add Steve Tretter to the Vice President position, Elaine seconded and the board approved.

The final order of business was to discuss the recent pool deck bids and a timeline for completion. Shawn called Rick Friend at Paver King to receive an updated proposal for the deck job. Shawn provided a copy of the proposal from Sun Surfaces of Orlando, which included a detailed scope of work, in order to receive a comparable quote.

Shawn also called Classic Surfaces Inc., to receive an updated proposal for the deck job. Shawn provided Barbara Williams a copy of the Sun Surfaces of Orlando proposal to ensure a comparable scope of work is bid on from her company.

The board feels completion by Memorial Day 2012 is ideal as the current state of the pool area is not in acceptable shape for the summer. In order to have this project completed by Memorial Day we will need to come to a decision on the vendor chosen rather quickly.

The board openly discussed how immediate landscaping updates were needed within the beds of the surrounding pool area. It appears too much mulch and dirt has accumulated which is causing drainage issues. Steve will investigate with RLC on options for cleaning it up prior to any pool deck upgrades.

At 7:35 pm Shawn motioned to dismiss, Elaine Seconds it and Steve moves.
