BOARD MEETING MINUTES
WEKIVA GOLF VILLAS HOMEOWNERS’ ASSOCIATION
NOVEMBER 14, 2012

A board meeting of the Wekiva Golf Villas Homeowners’ Association took place on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the WGVHA pool on Albrighton Court, Longwood, Florida.

Shawn Fourez, President, called the meeting to order at 6:36 p.m.  Also in attendance were Steve Tretter, Elaine Curran, John Ewseychik, Rebecca Viola, Patrice Burke, Kirk and Wendy Kief, and John Carter.

Agenda for the evening was to review and approve the Annual Budget for 2013.  The budget was reviewed by all present and any questions were addressed.  John Ewseychik moved to accept budget as proposed.  Shawn seconded the motion.  Shawn moved to approve the budget and it was unanimously approved.

Steve brought lighting sample, a compact fluorescent LED $40 per light $15 to replace two bulbs which estimated to last 1.5 years.  Agreed we will try these as a new solution to the ongoing lighting issue and if we continue to have issues we will get a licensed electrician.  Steve will call electrician to tie into automatic timer system currently in use.

Shawn will follow up with pool decking company regarding threshold and slippery coating on gazebo.

Shawn will also speak with Linda at Wekiva Hunt Club Community Association concerning architectural control issues and enforcement.

John Carter brought up notice of annual meeting and the possibility of having the notice of annual meeting mailed with quarterly dues by 11/30/12.  Per John, only 3 board members, and the attorney, must be present for the meeting, so it is possible to coordinate schedules at this time.

Concerning the annual meeting, it was also discussed by Shawn that there are two board positions currently open.  The new members in attendance at the meeting were encouraged to volunteer.

John moved to adjourn at 7:11 p.m.  Shawn seconds and Elaine moves.
