BOARD MEETING MINUTES
WEKIVA GOLF VILLAS HOMEOWNERS’ ASSOCIATION
NOVEMBER 19, 2013

A board meeting of the Wekiva Golf Villas Homeowners’ Association took place on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the WGVHA pool on Albrighton Court, Longwood, Florida.

Steve Tretter, President, called the meeting to order at 7:09 p.m.  Also in attendance were Elaine Curran, Kirk Kief, and Rebecca Viola.

Agenda for the evening was to review and approve the Board Meeting Minutes from September 10, 2013 and February 13, 2013 and to prepare a budget for presentation to the general membership.

Kirk moves to approve the minutes with two minor revisions (change “Verina” to “Barina” in September 10, 2013 minutes and change “pool guy” to “Barry Winn” in February 13, 2013 minutes).  Elaine seconds. Minutes approved.

Foreseeable expenses were discussed, including:

1. Repair to decking in pavilion (approximately $300)
2. Allocate same funds going forward to allow for pressure washer twice per year
3. New pump installation (approximately $1500)
4. LED lighting ($100 per fixture x 4)
5. Neighborhood watch signs will remain as budget line item
6. New Pool rules sign (approximately $400)
7. 2 Fans in pavilion (approximately $800 to include wiring and installation).

There is approximately $325 in funds available for budgeted repairs in 2013 budget and those funds will be used toward the purchase of lighting before year end.

Additionally, pool maintenance expenses are under budget so pressure washing will be paid for before year end.

Steve will email John Carter to inquire concerning what the prior termite bond covered and whether we need to renew.

Replacement key and lock system will be tabled until 2015. If insurance and termite bond do not exceed budgeted amount and a surplus exists, replacement of fencing along adjacent property line will be investigated.

The Annual Budget meeting scheduled for 12/16 at 7 pm and discussion of timely notice.

Kirk moved to adjourn at 8:11 p.m.  Elaine seconded; meeting adjourned.
